CENTRE FEES

Evans Head Pre-School Association offers affordable fees, as well as subsidised fees for 4 year olds*, Pension/Health Care Card holders, children who speak English as an additional language, children who are Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander and multiple birth children (triplets and above).

* A 4 year old is a child who turns 4 years old on or before 31^st July during the year they are enrolled in preschool.

FEES FOR NON-PRIORITY 3 YEAR OLDS

i.e. 3 year old children with no Health Care Card, who are not Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander.

Even though we receive limited Government funding to enroll 3 year olds, we will keep a set number of places open each day for these children.

$60.00 per 15 hour session

 If you need extended care it will be charged at $5 Early Drop Off and $5 After School Care.

FEES FOR PRIORITY CHILDREN

i.e. 4 year olds (see above), families with a Pension/Health Care Card, children who speak English as an additional language, children who are Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander and multiple birth children (triplets and above).

$50.00 per 15 hour session:  Children who are 4 years old (or turn 4 years old on or before 31st July in the enrolment year)

$50.00 per 15 hour session:  Children whose parent/guardian has a current Health Care Card

$50.00 per 15 hour session:  Children who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander.

Additional Information:

The NSW Government acknowledges research that shows children do best at school if they received 600 hours of preschool in the year before school. This research shows that disadvantaged children (children on a health care card, children for whom English is an additional language or children who identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander) benefit from 2 years of a quality preschool program to improve their outcomes at school. Preschools are required to enroll the maximum number of children possible in the above target group (for 15 hours per week). We have tried to meet the needs of as many families as possible.

ENROLMENT PATTERNS:

Choose an Enrolment Session of either Jellum (Fish) or Bing Ging (Turtles) – see below:

Jellums attend Preschool 9:00am to 3:00pm 5 day fortnight (Tuesday/Wednesday and alternate Mondays).

Bing Gings attend Preschool 8:30am to 4:00pm every Thursday and Friday. i.e. 15 hours per week.

WOODBURN PRE-SCHOOL CENTRE

Our Woodburn Centre is open from Monday to Thursday.

Choose an Enrolment Session of either Guhgun (Kookaburras) or Jena Jena (Echidnas) – see below:

Guhgun attend Preschool 8:30am to 4:00pm every Monday and Tuesday i.e. 15 hours per week.

Jena Jena attend Preschool 8:30am to 4:00pm every Wednesday and Thursday i.e. 15 hours per week.

Centre Parking Note: Please park in the Woodburn Community Pool carpark (Note. Do not use marked SES parking spaces). Walk up the pathway behind the Pool to School Lane. Please do not drive up School Lane for safety reasons. Please click here for visual.
Alternatively parking is also available in the Public School Car Park, with undercover walkway all the way up to Pre School.

Both centres close for Public Holidays and run in conjunction with the NSW Public School calendar.

*EXTENDED HOURS FOR BOTH CENTRES

Operating hours at both our Evans Head and Woodburn centres is 8:00am to 4:00pm.

Both centres offer Early Bird arrivals (from 8:00am) and late collection (by 4:00pm), for parents needing to utilise the centre before or after their preschool session hours.

Early Bird care is available from 8:00am: $5.00 per day.

Late Collection is available until 4:00pm for children enrolled for the short 6 hour program: $5 per day.
